The Inside Product Specialists support and enable Dell OEM inside/field sales and sales engineering teams. They own the technology relationship at smaller customers and support sales engineers and account executives at large, complex customers. They are part of a dynamic and global sales engineering team. Responsibilities are: -solve technology problems by directly engaging with customers, or in support of sales engineers and sales -manage complex quotes through a consultative engagement with customers -engage in conference calls and to ascertain the enterprise needs of the customer -support rfp/bid response on enterprise technical content. -present the value of Dell's enterprise and OEM solutions to customers vi web conference, and sometimes in person in the field -carry a sales quota -ability to work with different styles of people -become a trust technical advisor to the customer -engage cross functional resources, regardless of geographic location, in order to achieve goal/meet customer needs. -prioritize multiple demands while ensuring customer needs are met. -balance short term and long term priorities.
Bachelors Degree Preferred Three to five years experience in a technical sales role or similar Must have strong presentation skills Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision (but plenty of coaching) in a fast paced organization
