Amazon Fashion Customer Experience Product Manager in Meguro, Japan

The Amazon Fashion team is looking for a PM to lead a new project targeted to launch in 2017, to strategize, design and deliver platforms and customer experiences across devices that transform how customers shop for clothing, shoes, and accessories online.

You seek truth in data but are guided by strong consumer e-commerce instinct. You can work with senior business leaders to immerse yourself in key customer problems and come up with quick ways to test potential solutions. You experiment quickly, but know what has to change for when we have to scale the successful ones for millions of customers.

Ne project will bring experience that’s aspirational, so you should have a track record of creating consumer experiences that go beyond functional excellence. We are building new ideas and processes that should and could transform how we sell fashion online.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define the product vision, goals, and success metrics.

  • Take ideas through the green light process with team members up through A&B-level execs.

  • Translate that vision into a logically sequenced and optimized product roadmap.

  • Write complete and detail-oriented product requirements documents and ensuring clear communication of those requirements to the business, design, usability and development teams.

  • Drive execution, staying ahead of dependencies, making smart tradeoffs, coordinating dependencies, and maintaining communication throughout the organization to guarantee a smooth and efficient product delivery.

  • Balance business needs and technical constraints while maximizing business benefit and building great customer experiences.

  • Audit and iterate based on measurable results.

  • Experience in educating internal or external parties on new process, systems or tools

  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done

  • Ability to interpret data and make business recommendations

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate new opportunities.

  • Excellent communication skills in a professional and mature manner

  • Mandatory high level of Excel skills

  • Japanese native proficiency in speaking, writing and reading

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Experience or proficiency in IT is plus

  • A project management role in an online consumer focused or e-commerce company. Experience on global project is strongly preferred
