The Amazon Browser Integration Technologies Team provides a unique opportunity to extend Amazon beyond Amazon's web or app, by bringing Amazon to customers on whatever device, OS and/or browser they are using, even when they are not yet thinking of Amazon.

Amazon is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to join Amazon's BIT team. As the Senior International Program Manager, you will be responsible for replicating and expanding acquisition, retention and engagement of Amazon Assistant in international locales. You will develop the strategy and vision for your area of ownership and provide input into the greater organizational direction. You will work with individuals across the organization from Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Business Development, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure we provide the best-localized product possible for our customers. The Senior International Program Manager is responsible for accelerating customer acquisition and growth via strategic marketing and distribution opportunities worldwide. By driving innovative ways to expand and deepen our online and organic marketing strategies in addition to business partnerships, this role is a significant contributor towards realizing the team's vision of making the entire web and app ecosystem shoppable with Amazon.

A successful candidate will be a senior level individual contributor that excels at influencing without authority, dealing with ambiguity and is capable of operating at all levels. They possess a strong attention to detail, a reputation as someone who focuses on the customer, brings simplified solutions to complex problems and does what they say they will do. The ideal candidate has solid business judgment, thrives on scaling programs at lightning speed, and is customer focused.

Independent and flexible with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as you will regularly represent our business with senior executives. The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus and extensive experience in data analyzing, project management, seller communication, and operations. The candidate must have demonstrated sound business judgment and is able to think strategically about the fast growing business while at the same time has the analytical ability and intelligence to dive into the tactical details. They must have demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional capacity and a proven track record of delivering operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  1. Build a localized program that drives acquisition and engagement of Amazon Assistant

  2. Be a customer advocate, a consummate evangelist for the program, and lead by example with relentlessly high standards.

  3. Set program vision, program objectives, and drive awareness and adoption.

  4. Communication & Reporting: Drive weekly meetings to review business metrics and reporting on progress of multiple projects, providing regular updates to senior management.

  5. Contribute ideas for how we make product improvements for customers, and solicit ideas from other knowledgeable stakeholders.

  6. Put repeatable processes in place that help plan and manage multiple parallel projects within the space you own.

  7. Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.

  8. Lead the definition, design and roll out of a new program or key new features locally

  9. Establish and execute against aggressive operational and business metrics

  10. Dive deep into data and identify important and actionable business intelligence

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree

· 6+ years of marketing, business development, program management and customer facing experience

· Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

· Strong verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

· Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead end to end from integration to launch.

· Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.

· Excellent Verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

· Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

· Strong analytical and reporting skills. Establish goals, plans and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve program objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

-MBA or Master’s degree

-10+ years of experience creating and managing programs end to end

  • Passion for creating innovative solutions for customers

  • Experience working in ecommerce industry and/or distribution of customer facing apps/technology

-Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule trade-offs and opportunistic new ideas with technical employees

-Project/Program Management or Agile Certification
