The Online Marketing SEM team at has end-to-end responsibility for one of the largest marketing channels for paid search listings in the world. This role has responsibility for growing retail business, acquisition of new customer and improving our customers’ engagement.

We are seeking a seasoned enterprise marketing specialist capable of driving commercial success at scale in Japan while improving our customer experience. The successful candidate will own the marketing strategy and execution for Japan. You will manage listing accounts, analyze their performance, manage and report day to day performance of the sites, run campaigns and educate and advise multiple stakeholders.

To do so, the successful candidate will work closely with global SEM team (both Marketing and Technical team) at Amazon on multiple projects at once, as well as with internal customers and stakeholders across the company. This role has responsibility for both strategy and execution, and as such, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading as well as executing marketing initiatives. For reporting channel performance to internal stakeholders, candidate will have solid data analytical skill. Experience of working closely with technical teams will be advantageous.

As part of the global team you will work with and learn from some of the most knowledgeable SEM professionals in the world both in the marketing and technical field.

Your key responsibilities will be:

· Own and develop strategic plan to grow’s SEM channel

· Create a roadmap of initiatives to enable the local and global strategic objectives.

· Analyze present state, challenges and opportunities for’s SEM channel

· Create and execute marketing initiatives for both PC and Mobile site

· Track the progress and effectiveness of SEM measures and improve it based on the result

· Analyze and communicate marketing performance to local and global stakeholders

· Educate and advise internal stakeholders

· Collaborate with the SEM software development teams in Seattle to execute initiatives

· Represent the SEM channel in Japan and global business reviews

· Participate in formulating the Amazon global SEM strategy

Basic Qualifications

· 4+ years’ experience in eCommerce, online marketing or related fields (experience in SEM marketing area plus)

· Solid data analytical skills and ability to identify actionable insights from large datasets

· Proven track record assuming ownership, moving quickly to implement ideas, and delivering results and in a fast-paced online environment

· Ability to drive clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses of marketing programs

· Proven track record in managing online-marketing projects from inception to completion

· Great deal of both business and technical knowledge in online marketing

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work in international team environment

· Business level English speaking and writing abilities

· Advanced Excel knowledge


Preferred qualifications

· Experience with SQL skill
