To help us drive this vision, we are searching for a Quality Assurance Leader for our Distribution Business Unit (DBU) in Japan.
To manage the resolution and follow up of quality issues with internal and external customers and suppliers to exceed customer expectation and achieve business results.

Qualifications and Competencies
Experience and background skills desired:
· Experience in a Quality Assurance environment
· Experience in a face-to-customer role
· Works well in a creative team environment
· Reliable and self-motivated
· Strong communication skills
· Creative and analytical thinker
· Strong problem solving abilities
· Familiarity with Word and Excel
· Able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment under pressure
· Good command of English (TOEIC 800 or equivalent) and Japanese language

· Work cross-functionally with colleagues/counterpart.
· Cover duties as necessary in their absence or as required.

Product Or Service Familiarization - Understanding of the product line or services of the specific business of which the person is a part (i.e., plant, performance cell, etc).
Quality System Development, Implementation And Verification - Identify and integrate common elements such as design and process control, management responsibility, document control etc. Quality auditing planning, preparation and execution.
Vpi (Value Package Introduction) - Understanding of the Cummins VPI process, its phases, cross functional activities and responsibilities.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in required.
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
