Role Summary/Purpose

The Project Manager will be responsible for project delivery, Profit and Loss (P&L) accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. The Project Manager will also manage and coordinate Site Installation activities and processes according to project’s contractual obligations, and ensure Site Installation activities are performed 100% in line with contractual requirements and quality targets, within scope, on time, and to budget.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage among the client and BOP contractors, and maintain good relationship for smooth project implementation

  • Lead and direct project team members, ensure overall successful execution for projects and implement the project strategy with project team members

  • Manage project implementation schedule and its progress

  • Ensure the safety work environment at the project site

  • Manage project quality

  • Ensure necessary support is obtained from Engineering and other functions in order to meet the project objectives and/or milestones

  • Establish and agree on a schedule of activities leading to the completion of the contract with clear milestones, deliverable and acceptance defined criteria

  • Prepare and present formal presentations in order to communicate project progression, issues, risks and opportunities to management

  • Manage the day-to-day interface with the customer and ensure all communication is effectively controlled

  • Ensure the project team is effectively structured and the roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, coordinated and understood

  • Work to ensure that the impact of claims and variations are limited / reduced

  • Manage the changes, errors and omissions to reduce the effects on the project

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience of working in global organization

  • Experience in Project Management of Wind Farm construction project or similar ploject like power plant construction.

  • Leader ship, Social and Self competence

  • Communication Ability in Japanese and English

  • Driving License
