Business Development Representative
To support the sales organization with strong business development performance and excellence in customer service and growth generating appointments and leads for software opportunities. This role requires you to perform primarily business development calls to prospective customers and arrange appointments for a team of Customer Executives.
Following up on marketing campaigns
Obtain appointments for the sales executives
Help participate and formulate marketing programs
Gather market intelligence and target Supply chain customers
Market map and maintain records with the database
At least 2 years of experience in a fast paced sales orientated environment
Proven track record in cold calling
Must have a high level of energy, enthusiasm, creativity and a drive to succeed
Proven Telecommunications experience required, ideally software experience but not essential.
Ability to negotiate, influence and persuade
Self-starter with can do approach and a passion for sales
Results and process orientated
Polished professional with exceptional communication skills
You will be a proven sales performer, with existing relationships and the hunger and drive to develop new business.
You will possess the ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly to change.
You will work with fluidity and be a self-starter who understands the sales process and acts accordingly.
The role demands high energy levels and a friendly and outgoing personality, who can work across channels.
You will need to have exceptional communication skills, have the ability to negotiate and influence.
