Business Leader, Consumer Marketing

Overview:\nDelivering integrated marketing & communications solutions that drive our business performance and reputation. Areas of responsibility are: Consumer Marketing (from TV to digital), Social Media, Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, External Communications, Media Relations, Thought Leadership and Corporate Social Responsibility.\nDeveloping and communicating compelling consumer value propositions to drive emotional and functional differentiation for key segments\nBuilding and fulfilling our brand promise through the development and delivery of global / regional & local marketing programs\nDeveloping and executing strategies to engage consumers, with a heavy focus on social / digital, in order to drive business results\n\nQuestions:\nHave you ever managed a global brand in Japan?\nAre you passionate to be the voice of consumer?\nHave you led integrated brand campaigns leveraging cutting edge digital tools?\nHave you ever led a consistent storytelling approach across the organization?\n\nRole:\nLead the Consumer/Digital/Social Marketing and Media channel strategies across Japan to drive MasterCard brand preference and usage. \nIdentify & leverage consumer insights by applying demographic, attitudinal & behavioral segmentation data to define a multi-channel targeting approach to winning with key segments; this includes POV€™s and best practices related to media channel and communications trends tied to key segments as defined by the region and individual markets.\nDevelop winning B to C strategy and plan to support business priorities\nPlanning and strategy development for marketing initiatives to support country business objectives\nParticipate in conceptualization, manage execution & evaluation of these initiatives i.e. end-to-end project management\nResponsible for the innovation, execution, implementation and the optimization of digital marketing using responsive design, mobile devices and other emerging technology\nDevelop and measure social media content and manage our social publishing calendar.\nExternal Communications/media relations: coordinate and work with the local Business Units, Product and Expert Sales teams to develop external communications (social and traditional) around corporate news, announcements, product launches etc., to demonstrate our leadership in the payment space, build corporate reputation and support the business. Coordinate with Regional Communications to amplify messaging across the region.\nBuild strong partnership with all functions to drive business\nCoordinate and work with the local Business Units, Product and Expert Sales teams to develop external communications (social and traditional) around corporate news, announcements, product launches etc., to demonstrate our leadership in the payment space, build corporate reputation and support the business. Coordinate with Regional Communications to amplify messaging across the region.\nWork with regional communications to develop and execute a CSR strategy that builds corporate reputation and develops employee engagement.\nHarness the strength and recourses of MasterCard€™s agencies to grow brand and ensure excellence by service providers for the execution of the various initiatives as required\nBudgeting, forecasting and tracking of marketing spends to ensure effective utilization and high ROI on marketing budgets\nCoordination with various functions within MasterCard (Finance, Legal, Regional Marketing team) for execution of the activities, as required\nAll about you:\nStrong knowledge in Japan market intelligences (Consumer /market/industry)\nStrong strategic and creative thinker\nExperienced in managing multiple agencies\nProven track record of planning, developing, launching and optimizing digital and social media plans\nProven track record with expert knowledge and experience with search engine marketing/optimization, social media platforms and user behavior/nuances, content marketing, mobile advertising and marketing, and audience buying through programmatic open exchanges and private marketplace.\nExceptional in managing multiple task simultaneously\nAdvanced skills in leading and managing agencies\nAdvanced knowledge and experience in digital and social marketing\nAbility to interact in and manage a matrix organization/relationship/partnership
