TransPerfect Client Services/Implementation Manager in Tokyo, Japan


The TransPerfect Technology division, is looking for a proactive Client Services Account Manager who wants to join a quickly growing company. The suitable candidate would be expected to assist Senior Account Managers with their day to day task in the initial period till they are deemed ready to work on their own accounts.


  • Respond to client requests for new project initiatives.

  • Collaborate with various members of the production and sales teams to assess the scope of work and serve as primary point of contact for clients

  • Develop implementation schedule in collaboration with client, OneLink Web Engineer and Project Manager

  • Monitor and communicate project progress, ensure strict adherence to deadlines and budgets and ultimately produce high quality deliverables

  • Educate client on product’s technical requirements and best practices, and set and fulfill expectations

  • Take a proactive role in learning about client’s industry, business needs, and company culture, educating the project team, identifying new business

  • Handle maintenance cost estimate builds and all client invoicing

Required Skills:

  • BS/BA required or equivalent work experience

  • Positions are based in our Tokyo office

  • 2+ years relevant experience in Account or Project Management role

  • Proven experience managing Web or localization projects from inception to launch

  • Excellent verbal and written English communications skills

  • Must possess a sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure

  • Detail oriented and commitment to the product

  • Foreign language (Japanese, Korean or Chinese) and localization experience a definite plus is a world leader in website localization, software localization, GMS (Globalization Management System) software products, and enterprise-level, professional translation services.
