Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks

This internship position is responsible for the execution of HR processes and transactions according to documented procedures within the HR Global Service Delivery Organization. The main function of this role is to ensure successful execution of the internal HR and external HR processes and issues within the SAP group. This internship position cooperates with HR Business Partners and Process Consultants.

Ensures appropriate HR Process Execution:

 Execution of HR processes & transaction according to SLA (Service Level Agreements). Keeping updated all documents (e.g. process manuals) necessary for the execution of HR processes. Ensure data integrity for key deadlines. Ensure information flow with all departments and functions in SAP, which are involved in HR processes execution. Use HR tools and systems to appropriately document and complete assigned work. Work with both internal and external contacts to assist in process completion or escalation, such as Legal, IT, and vendors.

Build strong partner relationship:

 Building relationships with other team members or departments outside the HR Service Center in order to facilitate the support for processes.

 Work with other team members to share knowledge on topics to ensure cross-training and scalability for all process work. Provide accurate and friendly advice and service to all customers, such as colleagues, employees and managers along the entire employee lifecycle.

Drive for Improvement & Innovation:

Continuously improving work and processes and continually assess service efficiency and utility. May have project responsibilities to support technology or process enhancements and/or changes. Provide input on training needs and content and support other HR colleagues in countries with the knowledge of responsible processes. Fulfills internal and external quality commitments. Understand scope of services and Service Level Agreements for customers.


 Expect to work in administration / HR or technical environment.

 Must have Native level Japanese and English is plus

 Official working permission in Japan is required

Able to attend 15 to 20 hours per week (limit 20 hours per week) and continue minimum 2 months to 6 months (limit).

Living (or will live) in Tokyo area and able to commute to SAP Japan office.


 Expect to receive college or graduated school degree in 2017, 2018 or 2019.
