TransPerfect Program Manager in Tokyo, Japan
Lead specific tracks of work within a larger complex localization projects
Manage project execution between geographically dispersed account, production and technology teams across different time zones and cultures
Provide day-to-day internal and client facing status reports
Assist in building overall plans/budgets and subsequent adherence
Assist in training and adoption of technologies for internal and client teams
Manage existing client relationships and participate in on-boarding new relationships
Assist in new business development (meeting presentations and RFI responses)
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Project Management, Linguistics, or related discipline preferred)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in program/account management
Prior experience in managing complex projects
Proven experience defining project logistics, resources, and production processes
Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Independent, self-motivated, results-oriented, and dynamic
Ability to work under tight deadlines and with geographically dispersed teams
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Advanced knowledge of project management tools
Knowledge of other languages
A strong localization background is preferred, but not a requirement
