The Surface SSP team is responsible for market share, revenue growth, increasing customer and partner satisfaction and winning against competition in the commercial marketplace while continuing to improve Microsoft’s image and reputation in commercial industry.
-Prime responsibility is driving the Surface revenue metric on the GM and EPG scorecard
Leading the EPG team in all aspects of Surface selling in Commercial
Driving compete strategies against Apple and Google
Landing large device deals in Commercial and using these as reference sites
Working closely with AE/ATS team on landing deals and driving device commercial programmers through the SMSP partner and resellers, FY17 to be a breakthrough year on devices in commercial against IPad by taking share against Apple
Reducing the footprint of Chromebook
Working closely within the SMSP team to drive Surface these accountabilities
Interface and provide feedback to Corp on key learning’s on our technology/device proposition in Commercial
-Sales experience - working for an IT company; a systems integrator or management consultancy
--Experience in successfully building and maintaining sustainable long term relationships based on trust, commitment and shared gain.
-Strong knowledge of application, solution and major project selling
-Demonstrate the ability to build a good understanding of the Commercial Market, the IT industry and Microsoft’s competitors
-A self-motivated leader with the ability to influence, inspire and bring others with you.
-Able to rapidly assimilate information, plan and drive for short and longer term objectives.
-An excellent presenter/communicator. Much time is spent presenting the Microsoft in Commercial value proposition case to customers and partners in 1:1 and 1: many situations.
-Creative/Entrepreneurial - able to think strategically develop new and innovative ideas about how Microsoft can approach the Commercial market with partners.
