PayPal Head of Channel Partnership in Japan
The head of Channel Partnership will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans to acquire, engage and manage PayPal channel partners such as Payment Gateways and Shopping Carts, as well as other key channel sales opportunities and relationships. Partners are a crucial part of the eCommerce eco-system, as they influence purchase decision process of businesses and deliver checkout experience for our buyers. Channel Partnership team will communicate and negotiate with high-level executives in our existing and potential partners, represent the company in Sales meetings and contract negotiations with those partners. His / her responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5-10+ years of experience in business development, sales, and/or partner programs
Demonstrated track record of successfully planning and managing larger-scale program implementations from start to finish.
3-5 years experiences in payments and/or e-commerce, with specific experience with PayPal highly preferred.
Familiarity with a variety of services that Merchants would utilize together with PayPal (i.e. shopping carts, payment gateway services) would be very beneficial.
Experience working in a global MNC within a highly competitive, fast-paced industry is a must. Experience navigating, leveraging and influencing through a matrixed organization will be important.
Comfort with Data / Analytics and using it to advise partners and merchants, monitor and track effectiveness / performance, and drive decision making is a must.
Strong verbal and written skills in Japanese and English.
Experiences in leading and managing people is necessary
