Honeywell OEM BD Director in Japan
This OEM Business Development Director position will be based in Japan and will cover numerous OEMs including KHI, MHI, Fuji Heavy Industries, as well as Honeywell’s trading partners in the region, Marubeni, ITOCHU, etc. and is responsible for growing the pipeline of sales opportunities at their assigned customer for new aircraft / helicopter / ground vehicle / UAV, launch vehicle, etc. models, refresh on existing platforms with a focus on displacing competitors and tracking this pipeline through SFDC. This position requires extensive breadth, knowledge and experience within the assigned D&S customer. The OEM Business Development Director will be assigned to and positioned at the customer’s location. The OEM Business Development Director will be Honeywell’s representative at the assigned customer and will build strong relationships on both the technical and executive level that will position Honeywell for long term positive relationships within the assigned customer. The OEM Business Development Director will be an expert in assigned customer platforms, Honeywell content and Honeywell’s capabilities and in doing so will understand the business and competitive environment with those customers and will be able to identify short term and long short term growth opportunities for Honeywell.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (Industry equivalent qualification plus demonstrated experience in sales leadership considered), master’s degree preferred Minimum of 10 years Aerospace industry, product and sales knowledge experience Minimum of 5 years Sales leadership experience with a track record of driving revenue growth Strong business acumen Excellent verbal and written communication skills
