Summary:
Responsible for achieving the sales plan in his or her territory under mentoring and coaching by other Sales Rep of higher grades or the supervision of a manager.

Contacts potential customers, negotiates product acceptance, and obtains contract commitments for the company’s products.

Develops and maintains contacts within the industry to provide information and remain abreast of competitors’ activities.

Maintains close relationships with distributers in his or her territory.
Principal Responsibilities:

Develops a keen understanding of the marketplace through accurate data collection of competitive activities, including pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.

Ensures that historical records are accurately maintained including such information as customer sales and company assets

Increases professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Maintains a close relationship with distributes who take care of our products distribution and promoting to new accounts.

Maintains existing businesses including ensuring accounts remain compliant and orders and incremental business is achieved.

Promotes all of the Department’s product lines to institutions, including surgeons, medical engineers and non-surgeon hospital customers (operating room managers, anesthesia staff, PACU staff, purchasers, etc.)

Reports product feedback to sales and marketing, including customer feedback on product enhancements, service, and policies. This feedback is collected through direct feedback as well as evaluations, trial assessments, and competitive developments.

Resolves customer concerns and complaints through accurate and timely investigations and

developing, implementing, and executing solutions

Visits assigned direct hospital accounts to respond to emergency calls and

establish relationships with all call points and decision makers.
