Job Title Senior Staff, Digital Communications & CSR

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of HR Japan, this position will be mainly responsible for Digital Communications & CSR activities, both internally and externally.This position is also requested to work closely with Communications team while building a strong relationship with key stakeholders and peers in other group companies.

Primary Responsibilities:

1) External Communication by Social Media Promotions, CSR (70%)

­ Develop and execute corporate reputation strategy based on Social Media as a way of enhancing operating organization and/or our image/brand via Digital Communications tools including SNS and Corporate Website.

­ Amplify Continental Japan’s CSR initiatives leveraging media engagement strategy and activate CSR programs to increase internal awareness and participation in CSR programs under corporate digital environment.

2) Internal Communication (30%)

­ Proactively acquire news / information across Continental organization in global and publish articles on internal newsletter through digital communications channel

­ Support Corporate Internal Communications including Town Hall meetings and other employee engagement programs in collaboration with internal key stakeholders including Human Relations team.

­ Drive Diversity & Inclusion, Women’s Leadership and Work Life Balance with HR team to retain our talents.

Job Requirements

  1. Proven performer with 5+ years of experience in internal and external communications in Automotive industry ( OEM or Suppliers) or public relations agency with a proven track record of success with auto related customers.

  2. Must possess strong written and oral communications skills in English and Japanese, as well as editing experience, which includes a well-developed aptitude for grammar and style.

  3. Experience planning and executing Social Media activities.

  4. Experience dealing with national and local media, trade and social media or professional / trade and third-party organizations.

­1. Strong working knowledge / understanding of automotive basic technology

2,. Experience in managing outside agencies/project budgets/schedules

3, Must demonstrate ability to work as part of a team, but also be a self-starter and an ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
